🎆 Woman Busted For DUI After Fourth of July Party — “Just Following The Fireworks”

Nothing says ‘Happy Independence Day’ like burgers, fireworks… and apparently, a very bad decision.

Police in Clearwater, Florida say they arrested a 29-year-old woman early Friday morning after she was caught driving the wrong way down a highway — with her car still covered in red, white, and blue glitter. 🇺🇸

According to the police report, Samantha Rhodes told officers she’d “only had two drinks” at a Fourth of July block party before deciding to drive home.

Unfortunately for her, dashcam footage showed something very different.

“She was swerving between lanes, honking at the fireworks, and singing along to Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ at full volume,” said one officer. “It was… memorable.”

After failing a field sobriety test (and reportedly asking police if she could “finish her burger first”), Rhodes was arrested for driving under the influence.

Her blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit, according to officials.

The incident has since gone viral on social media after bodycam footage hit TikTok, racking up millions of views with comments like:

“Freedom taken literally 😭”
“When you celebrate America a little too hard 🇺🇸🍻”

Police have reminded drivers to plan ahead and never get behind the wheel after drinking — no matter how festive the night gets.

“We want people to celebrate — just do it safely,” said the department’s spokesperson.

Rhodes has since been released on bail and reportedly told friends she’s “done with tequila forever.”
