According to authorities, Vanessa Reed arrived at a downtown city park after signs clearly prohibited vehicle access beyond a certain point. Witnesses say she ignored the barriers, honked at pedestrians, and claimed she “had special permission” because she was late for a yoga class.
When a park ranger asked her to turn around, Reed reportedly rolled her eyes and replied:
“Do you know who I am? I don’t have time for this.”
Security cameras caught her trying to drive around a fence, prompting officers to respond. Reed continued arguing, insisting the law “wasn’t meant for her.”
Officers issued her a citation for unauthorized vehicle entry and failure to comply with an official order. She was escorted off the property, where a small crowd had gathered to watch the spectacle.
One bystander said,
“She acted like she owned the place, then suddenly she’s arguing with a cop. It was… satisfying to watch.”
Authorities said Reed’s case is a reminder: “Rules apply to everyone, no exceptions.”
