A woman has become the internet’s new “criminal mastermind” — and not in a good way — after attempting to steal $5,000 worth of Lululemon gear before getting caught in a way so humiliating that social media may never let her forget it.

According to staff, the woman walked into the store “with the confidence of someone who owns the building,” grabbed armfuls of leggings, sports bras, and jackets, and casually strolled around like she was doing a supermarket sweep challenge.

Her mistake?
Trying to stuff everything into what has now been described online as “the world’s smallest tote bag.”

Employees said they watched in disbelief as she attempted to compress $5,000 of athleisure into a bag that couldn’t fit a water bottle.

The security footage — which has gone absolutely viral — shows her trying to zip the bag shut while yoga pants spill out like an overpacked suitcase on a budget airline. One TikTok commenter wrote:

“Sis was trying to smuggle leggings like they were endangered species.”

When she finally made a break for the exit, a pair of leggings caught on a display rack, snapping her backward like she was attached to a bungee cord of justice.

That was the moment staff confronted her — and she was quite literally caught red-handed, standing in the doorway holding $5,000 of stretchy crime.

The internet has not been kind.

Memes include:

  • “She tried to hit a Lululemon heist but forgot the loot bag.”
  • “Girl thought she was in Ocean’s 14.”
  • “Leggings: 1. Thief: 0.”

One witness reported that when confronted, the woman tried to claim,

“I thought everything was on sale.”

To which an employee allegedly replied,

“Not that kind of sale.”

The situation was handled by police, the clothes were recovered, and the woman left the store without the merchandise… or her dignity.
