A routine traffic stop turned into an unexpectedly hilarious scene on Tuesday when officers say 31-year-old Bianca Marsh attempted to use charm — and entitlement — to talk her way out of a ticket.
Police say Marsh was pulled over for running a stop sign, but rather than cooperating, she reportedly rolled down her window, sighed dramatically, and insisted she “didn’t have time for this”.
Officers attempting to stay professional admitted that her antics made it nearly impossible to maintain composure. Witnesses say Marsh waved her hands, gave exaggerated excuses about being “a very important person,” and even suggested that the officer “should feel honored” to give her a warning.
“She literally tried to flirt her way out of a stop-sign violation,” said one officer, laughing. “We were struggling not to crack up in front of her.”
In the end, Marsh received a standard citation, though officers noted her attitude was more entertaining than typical traffic stops.
A police spokesperson commented:
“While we always treat drivers respectfully, sometimes people’s sense of entitlement is just too much — and yes, it can be funny.”
A nearby driver who witnessed the stop said,
“She thought she was in a movie. The cops were barely holding it together.”
