What started as a simple police stop in Sheffield has turned into one of the wildest viral clips of the week — after a third woman showed up mid-incident and ended up getting herself arrested for DUI.

According to local reports, police had pulled over two young women just after midnight for a routine traffic check. The situation was calm at first — until a third car suddenly pulled up behind the flashing blue lights.

Out stepped another woman — shouting, waving, and demanding to know what was going on.

“She said she was just there to ‘help her mates,’” one officer told UNILAD, “but within seconds it was obvious she was under the influence. The smell hit us before she even started talking.”

Bodycam footage shows the woman stumbling toward the officers, trying to argue with them as they carried out the original stop. When police tried to calm her down, she reportedly replied, “I’m not drunk — I’m just emotional!”

Moments later, she was asked to take a breath test — and failed spectacularly.

“It went from zero to chaos in about thirty seconds,” the officer added. “She came to ‘defend’ her friends and ended up being the only one leaving in handcuffs.”

Witnesses who filmed the scene said it looked like “a reality show gone wrong.” The video has since gone viral on TikTok, with over 4.8 million views and thousands of comments calling it “peak 2025 energy.”

“Imagine trying to save your mates and getting yourself nicked instead,” one commenter wrote. “Couldn’t write it.”

Police confirmed that the woman, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and obstructing an officer. The two women from the original stop were released without charge.

The department later posted a tongue-in-cheek statement on social media:

“Friendly reminder: if your friends get pulled over, maybe don’t show up drunk behind the wheel to ‘help.’ We’ve got it covered.”
