In one of the most dangerous stunts caught on camera this year, a homeless man nearly turned a gas station into a fireball — and the footage is downright terrifying.
It happened just after midnight when the man walked onto the property carrying a lighter and what appeared to be a plastic bottle filled with liquid. Surveillance video shows him pacing near the fuel pumps, muttering to himself — before suddenly splashing the liquid and sparking the flame.
But what happens next? No one saw it coming.
Before the fire could catch, a quick-thinking employee sprinted from the store, tackled the man, and knocked the lighter out of his hand seconds before disaster. Moments later, police arrived and took the man into custody.
Witnesses say it was like watching a movie — only this time, it was real, and everyone at the station could’ve died.
The man is now facing multiple felony charges, including attempted arson and reckless endangerment.
