“Ma’am, you don’t have a flat tire… you don’t have any tires.”
That’s the line that left officers speechless — and a woman driver stunned — during a bizarre traffic stop that’s now going viral for all the wrong reasons.
It all unfolded late Tuesday afternoon when police in [insert city] noticed a car dragging sparks and grinding loudly as it swerved down a suburban road. Concerned for public safety and assuming the driver had a blown tire, officers initiated a traffic stop.
When the car finally came to a halt — metal rims screeching against asphalt — a visibly confused woman rolled down her window.
According to bodycam footage, the driver calmly told officers, “Yeah, I know… I’ve just got a flat. I’m heading home to fix it.”
But as one officer walked around the vehicle, his confusion turned to disbelief.
“Ma’am,” he said, pausing. “You don’t have a flat. You have no tires at all. You’re driving on bare rims.”
