Missiles Rain on Tel Aviv — Is This the Start of World War III?

TEL AVIV, June 15, 2025 — Iran has launched a massive wave of ballistic missiles at Israel in its most aggressive attack yet, hitting cities like Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Bat Yam. The strikes have left at least 10 dead and hundreds injured, with residential buildings reduced to rubble.

Israel’s missile defense systems intercepted many projectiles, but several broke through. In Bat Yam, a direct hit on a 10-story building killed multiple civilians, including children.

The assault was Iran’s response to Israel’s earlier bombing of nuclear and military sites deep inside Iranian territory. Israel has already launched new retaliatory strikes, hitting Iranian energy infrastructure and military bases.

Tensions are now at a boiling point. Regional militias—including the Houthis and Hezbollah—are threatening to join the fight, and U.S. forces in the region are on high alert.

World leaders are urging restraint, but with both sides vowing further action, the question remains:

Are we watching the first sparks of a regional war—maybe even World War III?
