What should have been a routine DUI stop quickly spiraled into chaos when a woman police later described as acting like an “entitled princess” lashed out at officers in shocking fashion.
The late-night incident began when patrol officers noticed a luxury vehicle swerving dangerously across lanes. After pulling the car over, they quickly suspected the driver was under the influence. But instead of cooperating, the woman behind the wheel allegedly launched into a tirade that stunned even seasoned law enforcement.
Body cam footage shows her refusing to hand over her license, repeatedly mocking the officers, and even attempting to walk away from the scene. Witnesses reported hearing her yell that she was “too important” to be treated like everyone else and that the officers would “regret” stopping her.
When officers attempted to administer a sobriety test, the situation escalated further. The woman reportedly shoved one officer and threatened another, all while laughing and bragging about her “connections.”
“She behaved like rules didn’t apply to her,” one officer later said. “It was arrogance at a level we don’t often see.”
The outburst forced officers to physically restrain her, leading to her arrest on charges of DUI, assaulting an officer, and obstruction. Sources say the woman continued to hurl insults even after being placed in the back of the patrol car, demanding special treatment and insisting she would be released immediately.
Prosecutors now plan to push for the maximum penalties, arguing that her behavior put lives at risk and showed total disregard for the law. Court observers say her attitude in court could determine whether a judge shows any leniency — or decides to make an example out of her.
